YARD SALE..........TODAY !!!

Check out the rest of the DeStashers at http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/
Go
Okay, I'm ready...be warned this is a picture heavy post.  If you need any more info (even a better picture) let me know homespunwb@yahoo.com  I have tried to be meticulous with the descriptions.
Here we go!

Nine (9) spools Varigated Machine
SOLD*** Quilting Thread, Signature.
$9.00 for all plus shipping
These will fit in a small flat rate priority box.
Beautiful colors, most are full (never used) spools, just a little used on 3.  There are 3 different sizes...20, 30, and 40.
There's Egyptian long staple cotton on the 2 size 20's.
Spun polyester on the 2 size 30.
Mercerized long staple cotton on the 2 size 40.
And 3 spools of 100% long staple cotton in size 40.
Sorry, this is blurry.

Three spools YLI Jeans Stitch Thread
$4.00 for all plus shipping, fits in small SOLD*** priority flat rate box.
These are new, unused 200 yard spools of 100% spun polyester in Green, Burgandy and Black.
The green and burgandy are still sealed, I opened the black to try it, but immediately knew that it wouldn't work with my machine or my abilities!

BOOK...Finding Your Family On The Internet, The Ultimate Guide To Online ***SOLD***Family History Research
by Michael Otterson
$6.00 plus shipping

Brand new book, cost $16.95.
I was given this as a gift, but really have no use for it...haven't even read it!

OMNISTRIPS CUTTING MATS FOR CHENILLE
$3.00 plus shipping
These may be awkward to ship, but I think they will fold or kind of roll up enough to fit in small priority flat rate box...
There are 3 strips in various sizes from about 3/8" to 5/8".  The smallest 3/8" broke and I only have 1/2 the strip.  The idea is that you slip one of these mats in the channel you've sewn (slightly wider than the omnistrip and then you can cut with your rotary cutter thru the fabric layers.  Works great, I don't intend to do any more chenille though.  Comes with the directions.

The ends of the 2 long strips are slightly bent...this is not a problem, straightens out in the channel.

JOANN'S QUILT BLOCK OF THE MONTH
COUNTRYSIDE COTTAGE
SOLD***   includes Setting Kit
$25.00 plus shipping
This is the complete set of block kits with fabric and the Setting Kit to complete the top (you need batting, backing and binding).
I have already made the 1st and 3rd blocks.
I have the directions for the 2nd block kit...and I MADE the block...but I can't find the finished block anywhere.  It is a simple block and I would just find similar fabric colors and simply substitute that new fabric into some of the other blocks for continuity.

A very pretty quilt!

VINTAGE BOYE CIRCULAR KNITTING SOLD***  NEEDLES AND CASE
(BOYE THE NEEDLEMASTER TOTE CASE KNIT KIT CIRCULAR NEEDLES)
$30.00 plus shipping (fits in a medium flat rate box)

Kit contains all 13 needles sizes (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,10 1/2, 11,13,15),
2 point grippers, 5 plastic cables 12" to 23", 4 buttons (for adapting to a flexible straight needle) and assorted adapters (keys, couplers and needle to cable adapters).
Includes instruction brochure.
The tote is a vintage butterscotch plastic with a typical 70's tapestry fabric insert on both sides.
Inside is lined with a red acrylic fur.

This kit is in excellent condition for its' age.  There are no chips in the plastic or tears in the fabric.  Looks like one set of needles were replaced and were shorter, so a vinyl extension was added (see the large needles picture). Some normal use scratches and scuffing only adds to the charm.
This set is a rare find in this great condition.
I'd still be using these needles if I didn't have Rheumatoid Arthritis.
As it says in the instruction manual....complete with everything you need to knit...except the yarn!

GOLDEN THREADS QUILTING PAPER
SOLD***    NEW
$4.00 plus shipping
Trace your continuous line quilting design onto this paper...pin to project and quilt away.
Unopened package
12" wide x 20 yards long.
I think this sells for about $12 - $13. in some of the catalogues.

15 MACHINE EMBROIDERED REDWORK SOLD***    SQUARES
$12.00 for all, plus shipping
will fit in a flat rate priority envelope.

I was in a few swaps and collected these squares.  I already made a Redwork Quilt and don't need to do another.  The theme of all these blocks is 'old fashioned children'.
They all will finish as 6" squares.
All different...only 1 pattern was repeated 3 times (see center of top picture).
So 12 different and 3 are the same.

12 CONES COTTON THREAD
$8.00 for all plus shipping
Will all fit in a medium flat rate
SOLD***   priority box.

1 large cone wine
2 cones winter berrry
1 cone light blue
1 cone royal blue
2 cones hot pink
1 cone green
2 cones purple
2 cones peacock
Sorry for the dark picture.
One cone is marked mercerized cotton, 2 are marked cotton covered poly and the other 9 don't have a description label inside the cone.  I believe they are all cottons though.
Got these from an old friend thinking I would use with my serger...
but my serger and I don't get along and it never works right for me...so I think I'll stick to white or cream for my serging projects!!

PATTERN AND ACRYLIC YARN
SOLD***    FOR SWEATER
$25.00 plus shipping

This was a pattern I really wanted to do...but never did.
Now my hands can't work the knitting needles anymore...soooo
hope somebody can use this yarn, I'll unwind the knitted part and wind into a ball.

SOLD***    PRECUT SCRAPS
TRIANGLES AND SQUARES
$3.00 for all plus shipping
The triangles are leftovers from another quilt...A LOT of triangles.
Pastel pink, lavender, and some white.
Surely enough to make a quilt.
The 2 1/1 inch squares are stuffed into a sandwich bag.
There are also about 16 9 patch blocks.

FANCY - SPARKLY FABRICS
SOLD***   $8.00 for all plus shipping
There are 9 pieces of this sparkly, glittery fabric.

2 pieces of a laminated vinyl fabric.
I used these fabrics when making machine embroidered paper dolls and animals.  The vinyls and sparkly stuff were for fancy ballet costumes and animals like lizards!
Weight is 2 pounds and would fit in one of those priority bags.
I didn't measure the fabric, at least a quarter of a yard and some are much more.

SOLD***  CRAZY QUILT FABRIC
$12.00 for all plus shipping
will fit in a large flat rate priority box

These pictures are very dark.  There are 18 different fabrics.
These fabrics are mostly the knitted back kind of soft velvety material.
There are some shiny fabrics in there as well.

Tons of yardage...I will measure if you want...I am kinda pooped now as I near the end of this post!!!  LOL
