Santa Thru The Years for SewCalGal's Virtual Christmas Quilt

Here is my entry for SewCalGal's Virtual Christmas Quilt Show
http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/2009/12/virtual-christmas-quilt-show.html
There are lots of prizes you are sure to win one!!!!
This is one of the first quilts I made, back in 1998. It was made at the same time as the Snowman Quilt (posted below). With these two quilts I found my 'niche'...I love applique (the fused raw edge kind) and I love 'scenes. I have difficulty making more than one of anything...so it is my 'cup of tea'.

I've tried to get close ups of all the blocks. Hopefully you can click to enlarge them if you want.

The colors are a little washed out...was a cloudy day.

  6. It looks great! First I thought it was a Christmas print, but as I read on I saw that the blocks are actually appliqued; well done! You definatly have found your niche; I love raw edge applique too, you can do anything...
