Here's my entry for Sew Cal Gal's Christmas Quilt Show.
This was made using the grid fusible interfacing...you place all the squares on the grids and press, then add the seam binding between the squares.
Easier said than done...the fusible did not fuse too well and I had an awful time sewing down the black binding.
This was definately one of those 'I'd never do again deals" !! lol
Pretty though.

WOW, such a gorgeous table runner. I just LOVE the gold applique (stain glass look) Even though you had a tough time with it, the end results are beautiful.

I've never heard of that method. Too bad it didn't go easily for you, but your efforts definitely paid off! It is stunning!

ReplyDeleteSince I always work by hand, I have often thought how fast that technique might be. I hear that it isn't all a piece of cake when it comes to sewing.
